Once in a lifetime experience to learn from one of the best that ever played!!!  Dave takes great care with all players and truly enjoys teaching players to help make them better players.  Not your typical ex player, as Dave LOVES teaching and offers great personal touch with his players.  Dave is also available for team and league events, team practices, and speaking engagements. 

Stephanie Piontek::  SOFTBALL !!!  Stephanie played High School Fast Pitch Softball  at Mason High School, and the Cincinnati Storm for her summer travel team. During Stephanie’s high school career, she acquired the following awards:

  • State ERA record (0.00 ERA)
  •  All-State 2nd Team
  • FAVC All-Conference
  • All-District 1st Team

Stephanie continued her athletic career from 2002 – 2005 at Hanover College and was named Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Freshman of the Year.

tephanie’s objective is to provide athletes with a safe, fun, and competitive environment in which each athlete is given the opportunity to develop and improve basic skills, mechanics, speed, and control. Each training session is used to instill discipline, self-knowledge, and self-confidence.

Danny Davis :: Dan has over 17 years of coaching experience and over 20 years as a corporate trainer.  Head coach of Mason Freshman Baseball, Dan brings a positive energy and enthusiasm to his students.  After a successful run with The Dan Davis Baseball School at Kids First Sports Center, Danny helped open MIB as a way to offer instruction with the ability to break down fundamentals so that his players can make adjustments on their own during game situations.  Chosen as one of the instructors for the famed Doyle Baseball Academy, Dan had to pass up offering coaching certification with Doyle due to his heavy demand as a private and group instructor.  His goal is to help kids undersand what happened in an at bat, pitch, or play and how to correct and make ADJUSTMENTS.  

Derek Jones :: Played two years at Grand Rapids Community College before moving to Division I, Arkansas State University of the Sun Belt Conference before ending his baseball at NKU. Derek was a 2 time Sun Belt player of the Week, All Conference, All District, and All Regional player in his Freshman and Sophmore year. A shortstop and 2nd basemen, Derek instructs middle infielders and hitting at MIB through private and team/group sessions.

Brian O'Connor :: Brian pitched 1,239 innings of professional baseball.  As an
11th round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1995,  Brian played 11 seasons in the Pirates,Devil Rays,Braves and Cincinati Reds organizations. 

Marty Crow ::  You can't beat MARTY'S KIDS CAMPS!  Your young kids will have a great deal of fun with Marty on Saturday mornings, helping them LEARN and ENJOY baseball.   With over 13 years of coaching/private instruction, Marty brings a personal touch and enthusiasm to his students.  With an emphasis on pitching, Marty is very detailed in coaching the mechanics of pitching.  Marty is also an in demand instructor for running team tryouts and practice sessions.  

Devon Davis ::  Current college player at the University of Montevallo, Devon Davis is available over Winter break and Summer to teach pitching fundamentals and hitting.  Named as a "Top 10 Player" for the Midwest at the Blue-Gray Showcase, Devon is a LHP, 1st basemen, and OF.  Devon has been giving private instruction on the side to young kids for over 3 years.

Bethany Wiegand :: Bethany Wiegand is a pitching, hitting, slapping and fielding instructor. She brings a wealth of softball knowledge back to the Cincinnati area. Originally from Loveland, Bethany attended Ursuline Academy in Blue Ash and achieved numerous accolades as a high school pitcher. She continued her softball career at the University of Kentucky as both a player and a coach. While at UK she was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll. She also was a member of the 2000 SEC Eastern Division Regular Season Championship team. During her time at UK she was a camp counselor and clinician for the University of Kentucky Softball winter and summer camps providing instruction to individuals and teams in pitching, catching, hitting, slapping, bunting and fielding. She has experienced softball at the highest level and brings that knowledge base to each of her players. Bethany designs her instruction to build fundamentals, confidence and a strategic understanding of the game. She works with each player to learn self help and create a road map for the player to achieve their highest potential. Providing instruction to all age levels and ability through private lessons or team/group instruction, Bethany is also available for team assessments and try-outs.

Additional information
After graduating from Kentucky, Bethany attended Ohio University for her MBA and Master's in Sports Administration. Following her time at OU she worked in the athletic department at the University of Florida. Her last stop before returning to the Cincinnati area was as an athletic events coordinator in the state of Alabama. One of her events in Alabama was coordinating and managing the Alabama ASA State softball tournament which was a automatic national qualifier.
